Front Lawn Cottages & Historic Rustic Cabins

Historic Rustic Cabins

Mountain Lake’s historic cabins offer guests a unique experience - a collection of rustic log cabins where families or friends can have their own cabin for a weekend or longer. The original cabins were built using timber from the property by regular guests as summer homes and eventually turned over to the hotel. These simple cabins – some dating back as far as 1912 - represent over a century of family fun on the mountain. Many guests agree that a stay in one of these cabins is the best way to experience Mountain Lake.
